Yep, Cypress Vanguard Has It All

I finally got to go check out the local designer fashion house, Cypress Vanguard today!  The space that was formerly home to Launch 787 and lingerie designer Megan Summerville transformed in December to the local designer fashion house now knows as Cypress Vanguard.  In addition to housing the designs of Megan Summerville, this shop contains the locally designed clothing and accessories from the Ross Bennett Collection, savannahred, milli starr, By Jeannie Jewelry, Tracy Tenpenny, and Foxy Fusions.

Here's a little bit of info. on the designer collections you will find at Austin's fashion house:

Megan Summerville

Handmade lingerie in styles varying from girly to sexy to everything in between.  Each month Megan is releasing a signature bra and panty set from her high end Megan Summerville Signature line, which is known for one-of-a-kind pieces that are made from extremely rare and luxurious fabrics.  For January and February Megan has released a romantic velvet set which is custom dyed with a 1920s vintage cotton lace accented and hand beaded cup.

milli starr

Millinery is one of those old art forms that is becoming less prevalent as the years go by.  That is why Laura Del Villaggio's handmade hats are such a joy to see.  Each hat is uniquely handcrafted and sometimes made with vintage materials.  These milli starr hats are amazing!

Tracy Tenpenny

Tracy Tenpenny jewelry is classic and girly with a romantic look and lightweight feel.  Common materials for this jewelry include semiprecious stones, wire, and 14 karat gold fill.

Ross Bennett Collection

Designer Ross Bennett specializes in eco-friendly custom fitted clothing for women.  Bennet's clothes have an upscale and professional look and feel.

Foxy Fusions

Foxy Fusions glass jewelry is the creation of a trained painter.  Foxy Fusions jewelry is all about the bright colors and patterns and how they come together to create wearable art.

savannahred

I consider savannahred designer Anslee Connelly to be the Austin queen of curvy couture.  Savannahred clothes are for the girl who doesn't want to sacrifice cute design for a bigger size.  Besides the fact that these clothes are cute and flattering, they are also priced extremely reasonably considering they are handmade and can be custom fitted.  I don't know how Anslee does it!
